J&R Specialties Inc., a trusted leader in door and dock solutions in WNY, is looking to expand our expert installation team. We are seeking an experienced Lead Overhead Door Installer to take charge of a small team and manage commercial installation projects.

Key Responsibilities
Lead a small installation crew to safely and efficiently execute projects.
Install, service, and troubleshoot a wide range of commercial products, including: Sectional doors, Coiling doors and grilles, High-speed doors, Smoke and fire curtains, and Dock equipment (levelers, seals, bumpers, etc.)
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
Train and mentor junior members of your team.
Manage your dedicated company truck
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Handle occasional residential door installations as needed.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients on-site.
Required Qualifications
Must have significant experience in the overhead door industry, with a strong background in commercial installation.
Must have proven experience leading a small team or crew.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage project timelines.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift heavy objects, work from ladders or lifts, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications (A Plus)
Experience with welding or low-voltage electrical work is a plus but not required.
Prior installation experience with hollow metal doors & frames is a plus but not required.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
