Psychologist Need - Northern California Work Dates Needed: As soon as credentialed - 8/31/27 Preferred Schedule: M - F 7:30am - 4:30pm Worksite Setting: Medical Center Scope of Work: Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges. Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate. Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders. Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries. Requirements: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from an APA-accredited institution. Completion of APA-accredited internship in psychology OR 1 year fellowship/residency in health psychology/behavioral medicine. 1-year relevant experience within the past 4 years. Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a psychologist in any U.S. state, D.C., Guam, Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands. U.S Citizen, NACI background check
