Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician for a 240-day locum tenens assignment in Colorado. The ideal candidate will be available to start on 04/28/2025, working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. This role requires expertise in geriatric care, including conducting physicals, new patient exams, and rounding on patients in nursing home settings. The selected provider will be responsible for patient care across multiple locations within a 15-minute radius of each other. Proficiency in PointClickCare electronic health record system is also necessary.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct physicals and new patient exams for geriatric patients

• Perform daily rounds on nursing home residents

• Manage and treat various medical conditions common in elderly patients

• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using PointClickCare system

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

• Provide patient and family education on health maintenance and disease management

• Travel between multiple nursing home facilities within a 15-minute radius
