PRIMARY ROLE:

The Manager, IT will design, configure, maintain, and monitor network systems, subsystems, and servers; oversee the computer/server operations and environment; provide information, direction, and/or recommendations regarding network installations and configurations including, but not limited to, telephone, and wireless systems; resolve network operational issues; and provide technical support to the organization. This role will also be responsible for partnering with any technology related to Emalex, as well as working together with the business department owner of that hardware/software solution to assist with support. This role will also oversee any technology requirements at new office openings to meet the technology needs, including data room implementation, conference rooms, wireless plans, and individual workstation set ups.

The role is to be responsible for the Help Desk within the organization and ensure all trouble tickets/calls are handled within the Service Level Agreement. This role also is responsible for supporting all Facility related requests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design and Administer systems, infrastructure, technology, cloud environment, and servers.
  • Assess incidents, complaints, and/or accidents for the purpose of resolving and/or recommending a successful resolution.
  • Design computer networks for the purpose of ensuring effective and efficient operating systems.
  • Partner with Paragon IT to migrate to their own environment when necessary.
  • Work with Paragon IT to ensure they are set up for purchasing and support with all preferred vendors.
  • Manage assigned projects and program components for the purpose of delivering services in accordance with established policies and administrative procedures.
  • Secure all servers.
  • Prepare and monitor a disaster recovery, including backup servers.
  • Ensure patches and updates are being installed across user base.
  • Provide repair and upgrades to hardware, networks, and software.
  • Develop bid specifications for new and replacement hardware and software.
  • Coordinate the selection, recommendation, and purchase of equipment and support materials.
  • Develop and maintain accurate inventory of all technology equipment including licenses.
  • Coordinate and provide in-service and hands-on training for hardware and software applications, as needed.
  • Ensure IT budget for Emalex is tracking annually.
  • Create, update SOPs upon request.
  • Backup of Facility related projects and requests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in network administration, including, but not limited to TCP/IP, network security, and anti-virus and anti-spam techniques.
  • 3+ years of experience in coordination and implementation of computer and peripheral systems, including, but not limited to, planning, specifications development, purchasing, installation, training, trouble shooting and repair.
  • Network administration experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Stakeholder-service orientation.
  • Successful management of confidential information and materials.
  • History of initiative, discretion, leadership, and independent judgement.
