National Indemnity Company is seeking a Human Resources Management Intern

The Human Resources Information System Intern assists with the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and ensures delivery of high-quality services and products to internal customers. Provides routine system configuration support, assists with data integrity checks, and helps with testing system changes. Maintains strict confidentiality and works with a high level of customer service.

What will you do?

  • Assists with basic maintenance and enhancements of business processes within HRIS according to company policy and guidelines.
  • Supports the conversion of manual business processes into workflows and Helps develop system procedures and guidelines.
  • Performs basic reconciliations of HR data to ensure data integrity.
  • Assists with the preparation and implementation of new modules for HRIS, including configuration and user acceptance testing.
  • Supports the review, testing, and implementation of scheduled HRIS releases and other system updates.
  • Maintains the HRIS library of how-to guides.
  • Assists with monitoring reports and troubleshooting issues.
  • Processes basic Workday Core HCM transactions and provides user support training for system enhancements.
  • Assists with HRIS team in meetings with scribe like role and analysis input as requested.
  • Responds to basic questions from employees, managers, and department heads regarding HRIS.
  • Investigate and research new features in Workday or other technologies to accurately translate business requests into actionable items for workflow.
