POSITION SUMMARY:
The Area Manager, as part of the plant leadership team, is responsible for the safety, quality, delivery and cost outcomes of an area of the facility. This role demonstrates a high level of leadership competency aligned with the Lozier Leadership Model, in support of Lozierâ??s Mission, Vision, and Core Values. This role will typically lead multiple front line leaders across several departments and shifts.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required. Bachelor degree in business or technical field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years warehouse or manufacturing experience, whichever is applicable in which at least 2 years are in a supervisory/lead role. Without a degree, 10 years warehouse or manufacturing experience in which at least 5 years are in a supervisory/lead role.
