Business Data Analytics Intern

We are looking for a Business Data Analytics Intern!
 

Work directly with the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders at a brand-name company with a headquarters 10 minutes from UNL campus. We're looking for a high-quality, advanced student to hire on a part-time basis to assist with improving data organization and create predictive models that help to identify market growth opportunities, across all lines of products and service.
 

Once trained, the right candidate will organize data and build predictive models that help us understand current economic conditions and forecast outcomes across varying scenarios, including shifts in supply and demand, manufacturing, tariffs, and competitive activity. Therefore, we seek candidates with an advanced understanding of mathematics, statistics, predictive modeling techniques, and an intellectual curiosity to turn complex data sets into probable outcomes, given different courses of actions. This position will collaborate with accounting and finance teams and present findings to the executive team. It is a great opportunity to apply classroom theory to real-life challenges, while networking and receiving coaching by executive-level professionals who are well-connected across the region.
 

Initially, this will be a paid short-term, project-based role, with the potential to develop into a regular part-time internship position. The role would allow for some of the work to be done remotely, but with an occasional presence at our headquarters space in Lincoln.
