Kitchen Assistant-Part-Time Sat/Sun AM

Purpose: Provide assistance for Stephen Center, Inc.’s food services in the kitchen and dining area.

Key Accountabilities:

·Ensure all safety and security guidelines are followed.

·Light cooking, prep work and serving cafeteria style meals to clients.

·Respectful helper who will be expected to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

·General knowledge of sanitary kitchen duties and ability to close and lock kitchen at the end of shift, leaving kitchen in a safe, clean and secure condition.

Position Requirements:

·Ability to two way verbally communicate

·Standing - the whole shift

·Standing/Walking - Periodically

·Kneeling – Periodically

·Pushing/Pulling– Periodically

·Frequent Lifting – Up to 25 pounds

·Conducts self in a manner of professionalism that is conducive to recovery from mental illness, co-occurring disorders and overall wellness.

·Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.

Pay: $16/hour
