About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Senior Billing Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our billing processes and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. The Temporary Senior Billing Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze billing processes, and implement solutions to enhance overall billing performance.

For External Candidates:

Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE; Sacramento, CA; Hebron, KY

In this role, you'll get to:

Evaluate and analyze existing billing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements related to billing.
Assess billing systems and recommend modifications or enhancements for increased efficiency.
Work closely with product teams to implement system changes and updates.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to ensure accuracy in billing information.
Identify discrepancies in billing data to maintain data integrity.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of billing procedures and processes.
Generate regular reports on billing performance and provide insights for decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, product, and customer support, to address billing-related issues.
Communicate with external vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards related to billing.
Ensure billing practices align with legal and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in billing operations.
Provide training and support to internal teams to enhance billing knowledge and compliance.

We're looking for talent with:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Billing Business Analyst or similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in billing software and ERP systems.
Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance standards.
Experience with billing in a subscription-based or recurring revenue model.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
